WebCT

We also use a number of WebCT tools in this course. The tools are accessible through the WebCT section of this site. To access these tools you need to log in to the WebCT server by provinding your own WebCT ID and password.

Logging in to WebCT

Each student's login ID starts with the letter "s" followed by their first name (up to 4 characters), last name (up to 6 characters), and a four-digit number representing their birthday (a two-digit day value followed by a two-digit month value).
For example, John Smith, born on January 22nd would be

sjohnsmith2201

If the date of birth is missing or invalid in the Registrar's records, then four zeros (0000) will be assigned as the birthday. Students' initial passwords will be their social security number (without the hyphens). Students have the option of changing their passwords after they login to the course.

Please note: student login IDs are case sensitive and should always be entered in lower case without punctuation.
